honestech VHS to DVD 7.0 Deluxe Review and GIVEAWAY

honestech VHS to DVD 7.0 Deluxe
Review and Giveaway

I was kindly sent the honestech VHS to DVD 7.0 Deluxe to review by Jessica at KL Associates.  I am not the worlds greatest techno person so was very very pleased to find something that even I could do easily and with little effort!

You are given the installation CD, the VIDBOX and cables. It was easy to install the CD and follow the instructions. So easy in fact that even I surprised myself!! I rummaged around for my ancient video recorder, now over 20 years old, connected it up and in one and a half hours was watching film extracts I had completely forgotten about on my TV. The quality was good considering the skills of the video shooter and the age of my video recorder!!

It will be a well used piece of techno equipment in my house as I spend the time transferring all my old video tapes and video recorder tapes on to DVD because it was so easy to do, great quality and a fabulous bit of kit. Another handy feature is that you can minimise the and do other things on your laptop/computer whilst your DVD is recording and burning.

I can highly recommend this product, I choose to use the simple program, the EasyWizard Mode; but there is an advanced mode where you can edit and trim your scenes and an Audio Recorder so you can create Windows Media Audio files from your audio cassettes and LP records. I think I may well be doing the Audio recording next so that I can transport myself back to being a teenager!!

The specs:

USB 2.0 Video Capture Device Included
  • Requires USB 2.0 interface
  • Supports plug and play
  • Does not require external power
  • Supports Windows 8 / Windows 7 / Vista / XP
  • Multi cable input : S-Video, RCA (Composite)
  • USB cable included
This retails at £52.46 and if you would like to get your hands on this invaluable piece of equipment to save all those special memories then you can enter below using the rafflecopter.

Please note the winner will be announced on facebook and by email. Failure to reply to the email within 28 days will mean another winner will be chosen. The prize will be sent out by KL Associates
